Last Flight of Captain Filip Cocquyt @ KLM
Captain Filip Cocquyt made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. A career of 31 years and 5 months !!!
A last flight heading for his beloved destination Los Angeles.
Filip operated more than 100 flights to LAX and most of them with the B747-Combi.
The B747-Combi was Filip’s beloved and most favorite aircraft to fly.
Filip got assisted by his friend and also captain Victor de Vos as his ‘Wingman’.
His wife and two daughters joined the flight as well.
Flight KL601 , AMS-LAX, stand Echo20 and a runway 18C departure.
This flight was operated with a B787-10 Dreamliner reg PHBKQ.
On LAX airport he got an awesome watersalut and message by the LAX fire department.
Returnflight KL602 got a landing on RWY18R.
After vacating Filip got an extra Schipholtour via Quebec to final stand D43.
His last KLM flight got operated with another B787-10 Dreamliner and reg PHBKO.
Last Flight on a B747 and also coming in from LAX………..
