Captain Cor Verweij made his last flight due to his retirement at KLM. Ot the 7th of June he departed to YYZ- Toronto with Vojta Wagner as his ‘Wingman’. Flight KL691 , callsign KL31, starting the takeoffroll at holdingpoint Sierra6 on request. Beautiful wingvortexes and cloudbusts during their climbout and caused by a low forecast. The very last departure of the fullpax B747 with registration ‘PH-BFG’ as ‘City of Guayaquil’ She got delivered to KLM on April 1990. So after 29,7 years of duty she finally gets phased out. The PH-BFB ,a Boeing 747-400 of KLM , made her very last commercial flight due to phasing out. This 747 was the oldest one in world in active service at the moment. Dutch Pilot’s Flight @ Cathay Pacific

As personal good friends, Dutch Captain Marcel Sipma and Dutch First Officer Stéphane Fasbender operated their Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300ER (B-KQF) to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport on August 27th 2018. ‘Orange Pride’ @ KLM – PH-BVA

KLM painted her Boeing 777-300. The PH-BVA got a fantastic colour combined with the original blue. After a process of 5 days for the painting the aircraft had a test flight for some hours.
