Captain Filip Cocquyt made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. A career of 31 years and 5 months !!! A last flight heading for his beloved destination Los Angeles.  Filip operated more than 100 flights to LAX and most of them with the B747-Combi. The B747-Combi was Filip’s beloved and most favorite aircraft to fly. Filip got assisted by his friend and also captain Victor de Vos as his ‘Wingman’. Last Flight on KLM B747 – KL602 – PH-BFT @ Captain Filip Cocquyt

Captain Filip made his last flight on the KLM B747,inbound from LAX-Los Angeles. As we know KLM decided taking out of services all B747’s within a couple of weeks and before the end of March. Actually it was planned to keep them flying till May 2021. Unfortunately it changed because of the current worldwide problems caused by the corona virus.
