Last ‘Ladies Flight’ on 747 @ Shanghai
A very special ‘747 ladies flight’to Shanghai. In order of our Dutch Government KLM was asked to fly to Shanghai for important medical cargo.
Right now there is a special cargo bridge between Amsterdam and China. There are 5 weekly flights. AMS-ICN-PEK (2x) and AMS-ICN-PVG (3x)
The first PVG-Shanghai flight was operated at 23rd of March.
And it was a female crew operating KL895. Captain Sibbelien de Laere,First Officer’s Helen Hüpscher-Bakker and Sabine den Hollander,Second Officer Ilana Iskander.
Flight KL895 was loaded at stand F6 and pushed by KLM ATD Aircraft Towing Department……….driver Lennard Belt making his first pushback of a 747 ever supported by ATD instructor
Martin Croese. Lennard is in training like me.
Lining up at Echo 6 and full throttle on runway 18L with a smooth wingroll salute.
Backflight KL896 got an visual aproach for runway 06 and after landing the groundcrew unloaded 23 tons of medical cargo.
Both flights got operated with the B747-Combi reg PH-BFT
