Last Flight of Captain Steven Verhagen @ KLM
Captain Steven Verhagen made his last flight due to retirement at KLM.
A very special occasion because of the medical circumstances.
Steven’s retirementflight got operated by captain Paul Driessen, first officer Ruud van der Wal and second officer Mark Brinkman as his ‘Wingmen’.
The cabincrew got leaded by senior purser Petra Hop.
A last flight heading for destination San José – Costa Rica. Flight KL759,AMS-SJO , stand E6.
Planned for RWY18L but got a runwaychange to RWY24. After the pushback a hydraulic issue appeared and so they needed to get back to the gate.
After the technicians solved the problem they finally departed and again via RWY18L
Flight KL759 got operated with a B789 Dreamliner reg PHBHG.
With the returnflight the approach for landing got changed due to the winddirection.
Instead of RWY06 it became RWY18R, A final landing of flight KL760 and after vacating the runway taxying to stand F8.
Flight KL760 got operated by a B789 Dreamliner as well, reg PHBHF.
