Last Flight & Goaround of Captain B747 Henk van den Brink @ KLM

Captain Henk van den Brink made his last 747 flight as retirementflight. With an enormous career as 747 pilot and Captain.

Henk started as ‘Captain B747’ at July 1982 and made his last 747 flight after 37 years and 10 months. An amazing career and state of duty for KLM.

Due to the current worldwide circumstances and KLM’s decided phasing out all 747’s at the end of March.

This was a reason for himĀ  to operate his retirementflight right now and on his beloved B747.

Flight KL692 ,with callsign KL86, on final for RWY 06 and became a straight goaround with a turn left and downwind Schiphol.

The 2nd attempt with a smooth ‘wingroll salute’and landing on RWY 06.

Atfer vacating the runway Captain Henk got F7 as final stand. This flight he got Frank Weijers as his ‘Wingman’ and First Officer.

It was Frank’s last 747 flight as well.
