Captain Eric Akker made his last flight due to retirement at KLM.

A very special flight with his son Tim second officer,captain Chris Berkouwer and first officer Erik Laroy as his ‘Wingman’ and his wife Leontine senior purser as his ‘Wingwoman’.

A last flight with an old 747-destination Hong Kong. Flight KL887, stand E3, and a RWY36C departure.

This flight got operated with an B789 Dreamliner reg PHBHC.

Returnflight KL888 , the most beautiful callsign ‘KLM Triple Eight’ got a landing on runway 06.

After vacating the runway taxying to final stand E6.

Eric’s last flight got operated with an B777-200 reg PHBQN.
