Last Flight of Captain B747 Bert Busscher @ KLM

Captain Bert made his last flight,together with his wife Else, due to retirement at KLM. After 36 years of duty and almost 19,000 flight hours he landed for the very last time on runway 06. Flight KL888 with the famous callsign ‘KLM ‘Triple Eight’ was operated by the B747-Combi with registration PH-BFS. Bert got assisted in cockpit by First Officer Emiel Hartemink and Second Officer Martijn Braspenning. The cabin was coached by Senior Purser Ruud Schoonheijt and Purser Koos Hilt. Final Flight with KLM @ Captain B747 E.K.

Captain E.K. made his final flight with KLM,due to his retirement. Accompanied by his wife and children. Flight KL643,heading to JFK and back to Amsterdam with flight KL644, supported by first officer Stefan Kok Both on runway 36L/18R. The Polderbaan. Departure was operated with the PH-BFS and his final arrival, with a marvellous shot, operated with the PH-BFW. Once he was back on the BMC ,KLM crew center, he got another watersalute of the Schiphol Fire Department. Flight KL887 to Hong Kong ,operated with the B747-Combi PH-BFW, with a runway 36L departure. Last flight of Captain Marcel Neuteboom @ KLM

Captain Marcel Neuteboom made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL597-KL598 with the current callsigns KL103-KL104 heading to Capetown and back Amsterdam. Kl103 departed at runway 36C after they got de-iced at the Juliet buffer and operated with the B777-300 registrated as PH-BVP. Marcel’s last flight back to Amsterdam, KL104, was a very nice approach and landing at runway 18R.  Appearing through the clouds with marvellous stripes of vortexes leaving behind, a slight crosswind and finally a smooth landing. Senior Purser Barbara Toorop made her last flight due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL749 heading for Bogota-Cartagena and back to Amsterdam. Together with her daughter and son Tara and Bobby Hakvoort. Cockpitcrew captain Joep van de Langerijt,first officer Mark de Hoogh and second officer Floris Weijs. Dutch Pilot’s Flight @ Cathay Pacific

As personal good friends, Dutch Captain Marcel Sipma and Dutch First Officer Stéphane Fasbender operated their Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300ER (B-KQF) to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport on August 27th 2018. Arrival runway was runway 18R (Polderbaan) with Marcel at the controls, delivering the smoothest of landings for this CX271. Next day the same crew departs as CX270 (B-KQA) back to Hong Kong International Airport. The take off is performed by Stéphane from runway 24 on a Spijkerboor 3K departure. Together with his wife Kathinka de Graaf, Wilma van der Endt and First Officer Chris de Boer he got a runway 09 departure with the B777-300 registrated as PH-BVI. A magnificent sunset departure.
