Captain Tom made his last two flights,due to retirement, to Boston.
The inaugural flight to BOS and one week later his retirementflight.
Flight KL617 with a runway 36L departure,operated with the A330-300 PH-AKA.                                                                                                                                                                                                            And flight KL618 ,with a runway 06 approach,operated with the PH-AKF.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Supported by his first officer Duco van der Werf.

The landing is filmed airside. After the landing and vacating runway 06 to taxyway bravo, an armada of ‘Follow-Me Cars’ is waiting to guide Tom to his final stand as Captain.

The event-manager of the Schiphol Group Ron Onclin has a special gift during taxying to stand Fox3.
