Captain Gert Brienne made his last flight due to retirement at KLM//Martinair Cargo after 35 years and 9 months.

Gert started flying the B767 of Martinair Cargo in November 1991.

Thereafter flying the MD11F in February 1995 till October 2015.

Two months later ,December 2015 Gert started flying the B747F till his last flight.

Flight MP6161 , AMS-MIA, assisted by first officer Roy van Oppen as his ‘Wingman’.

On his retirementflight Gert got accompanied by his wife and children as well.

Flight MP6161 , stand S82 and a RWY24 departure via S8. This flight got operated with a B747-406ERF reg PHCKA.

From Miami he did fly a rotation Miami-Bogota-Miami and finally started his last and returnflight to Amsterdam.

Flight MP6162 , MIA-AMS, with a slight crosswind landing on RWY06 and assisted by first officer Joep Slijpen as his ‘Wingman”.

After vacating the runway at S8 taxying to final stand S77.

His last flight got operated with the B747-406ERF reg PHCKB.
