Captain Michiel van Leeuwen suddenly had to make his last 747 flight at the 19th of March 2020. The news all KLM B747’s should taken out of service within two weeks hit everyone right into the heart. Captain Filip made his last flight on the KLM B747,inbound from LAX-Los Angeles. As we know KLM decided taking out of services all B747’s within a couple of weeks and before the end of March. Captain Eric Akker,First Officer Sabine den Hollander and crew where grounded at PBM for some days after a lockdown at Surinams airspace.
