Captain Roland Hofmeester suddenly had to make his last MEX flight on the B747. In view of the 90% decline in flights and anticipated future capacity, KLM previously decided in early March that it would phase out its remaining Boeing 747s in April 2020, instead of in the summer of 2021. Wingroll Salute // Last MEX Flight on 747 @ FO Danny v Nierop

First Officer Danny van Nierop suddenly had to make his 747 Farewell flight to MEX. In view of the 90% decline in flights and anticipated future capacity, KLM previously decided in early March that it would phase out its remaining Boeing 747s in April 2020, instead of in the summer of 2021. CA II Mariëlle and her crew made their Farewell 747 flight to MEX. Their backflight was a repatriationflight with a 747 Fullpax.
