Last Flight of Captain Harald de Rooij

Captain Harald de Rooij made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Singapore was his last trip and together with good friend and First Officer B747 Danny Franken. Flight KL836 , operated with the B777-300ER registrated as PH-BVN, got runway 18 Center for his last landing. Danny was observer of a 5 man’s operation. Captain Harald did fly with First Officer Ruiz Asin and Second Officer’s  Jeroen Kee and Kevin Noordanus. Last Flight of Captain Thomas Rozeman @ KLM

Captain Thomas made his last flight due to retirement at KLM Flight KL597-598 with callsigns KL103-104 heading to Capetown and back Amsterdam. KL103 was planned for runway 18L. It was stormy and lots of rain during the departure. First officer Patrick is pilot for about 10 yrs and since two years with Emirates. This was the very first time sheduled for Amsterdam. A remarkable happening in his career. Flight EK145,operated with the A6-END, landing at runway 18 C ‘Zwanenburgbaan’ in the early morning. Flight EK146, operated with the A6-EGS, finally departed at runway 24. First runway 18L was planned. Last flight of Captain Marcel Neuteboom @ KLM

Captain Marcel Neuteboom made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL597-KL598 with the current callsigns KL103-KL104 heading to Capetown and back Amsterdam. Kl103 departed at runway 36C after they got de-iced at the Juliet buffer and operated with the B777-300 registrated as PH-BVP. Marcel’s last flight back to Amsterdam, KL104, was a very nice approach and landing at runway 18R.  Appearing through the clouds with marvellous stripes of vortexes leaving behind, a slight crosswind and finally a smooth landing. Last ‘Triple Flight’ Cathay Pacific to AMS @ FO Stephane – Cpt Marcel

Cathay Pacific did operate her last flight to Amsterdam Airport with a B777-300. At the first of December 2018 they will use a brand new A350-1000 flying to Amsterdam and back to Hong Kong. As personal good friends, Dutch Captain Marcel Sipma and Dutch First Officer Stéphane Fasbender operated their Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300ER (B-KQA) to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport on November 30th of  2018. Captain Ron Beetstra made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Together with first officer Vojta Wagner and second officer  Vincent Aupers heading for Capetown. Flight KL597-598 with callsigns KL103-104 got operated with the B777-200 // PH=BQB and the B777-300 // PH-BVS. Aalsmeerbaan 18L for departure and Polderbaan 18R for landing. Dutch Pilot’s Flight @ Cathay Pacific

As personal good friends, Dutch Captain Marcel Sipma and Dutch First Officer Stéphane Fasbender operated their Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300ER (B-KQF) to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport on August 27th 2018. Arrival runway was runway 18R (Polderbaan) with Marcel at the controls, delivering the smoothest of landings for this CX271. Next day the same crew departs as CX270 (B-KQA) back to Hong Kong International Airport. The take off is performed by Stéphane from runway 24 on a Spijkerboor 3K departure. Last Flight of Captain Jacco Krook @ KLM

Captain Jacco made his retirementsflight at KLM. He was heading for Kuala Lumpur and back Amsterdam. Together with his wife Kathinka de Graaf, Wilma van der Endt and First Officer Chris de Boer he got a runway 09 departure with the B777-300 registrated as PH-BVI. A magnificent sunset departure. ‘Orange Pride’ @ KLM – PH-BVA

KLM painted her Boeing 777-300. The PH-BVA got a fantastic colour combined with the original blue. After a process of 5 days for the painting the aircraft had a test flight for some hours. The same day the PH-BVA departed for a routine flight to Chengdu. At 21.40 she departed at runway 24 with a spijkerboor-departure.
