Last Flight of Captain B737 Noud Rutte @ KLM

Captain B737 Noud Rutte got his last flight due to retirement at KLM.

Noud experienced an enormous career of 37 years and one month.

Started in December 1986 as Flight engineer B747/200-300 and as Captain Noud did fly all types of the B737.

His retirementflight should have been a retourflight to Israël – Tel Aviv but changed to Lissabon due to the current war between Israël and Hamas.

Nouds wife Helena is Portugese from origin.

Flight KL1695 planned for RWY36C. I was positioned with a great look at the runway next to taxiway Yankee 2.

Unfortunately Noud got recleared to RWY36L. Filmequipment on my shoulders and on my way to a position opposite of Victor 3 RWY36L.

Believe it or not , he got relcleared again , and RWY36C it was.

With thanks to LVNL I got to race against the clock to reach the last filmspot.

Parked the car , running to reacht the filmspot , but was too late for Noud’s final takeoff at Amsterdam Airport.

Happily I was able to catch his climb out.

Backflight KL1692 one day later got RWY36C again for his final landing.

Unfortunately I was’nt able to capture his landing or docking at stand C11.

I had to tow an Dreamliner to hangar 11.

This is a B737 special with Noud’s climb out RWY36C as final shot.
