After 31 years Captain Alex den Hartog got his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Heading for destination Curacao and back Amsterdam with First Officer Rogier van de Vijver and Second Officer Pim de Wolf. Flight KL733, stand D47 and a departure on RWY36L, operated with a B777-200 reg PHBQC Backflight KL734 CUR-AMS got same runway for landing , RWY18R, After vacating taxying for final stand Echo19. Last flight of Captain Robert Adriaens @ KLM

Captain Robert made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. His ‘Wingmen’ were F/O Gert Jan Blaauwendraat and S/O Frank Coumans. Final destination on this retourflight was JNB – Johanneburg. Pilots call this a ‘Joburg’. Flight KL509 , AMS-JNB , stand Echo75 and RWY18L. This was a ‘Cargoflight’ and operated with a B777-200 reg PH-BQN. Final and backflight KL592 got a RWY18R arrival,operated with a B777-300ER reg PH-BVS. When entering the Dutch airspace the callsign of KL592 changed to ‘Robert-One’     Videostills……………..

Captain Henk van den Brink made his last 747 flight as retirementflight. With an enormous career as 747 pilot and Captain. Henk started as ‘Captain B747’ at July 1982 and made his last 747 flight after 37 years and 10 months. An amazing career and state of duty for KLM. Last flight of Captain B747 Lulof Beumer @ KLM

Captain Lulof Beumer made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Some colleages call him ‘The Tom Cruise of the KLM B747’ Togethether with his good friend and First Officer Peter Westerneng and Second Officer Ilana Iskander. Flight KL601 heading to LAX was operated by the B747Combi reg PH-BFW. RWY24 Sierra7 for departure with a marvellous wingroll salute after rotation.  They also call it a ‘rock to the wings’. Last Flight of Captain Ronald van Eijk @ KLM

Captain Ronald made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Ending his enormous flightcareer with a retourflight to Boston. Together with Senior Purser Lieke de Ruijter and First Officer Bert Franke ,and ofcourse the other crewmembers, they did fly back home to Amsterdam Airport. Flight KL618-Heavy landing on runway 36 Center , Zwanenburgbaan , with a smooth wingroll on final and final stand on VOP Fox 3. This flight is operated with the A330-300 registrated as PH-AKF . Last Flight of Captain Otto van Bruggen @ KLM

Captain Otto made his last flight due to his retirement at KLM. Together with First Officers Helen Hüpscher-Bakker and Sezer Kok they departed to PBM – Paramaribo. Flight Kl713 heading to PBM with a phenomenal wingroll during climbout from runway 36L. Backflight KL714 with landing at the same runway , 18R , and a very smooth landing.
