Last Flight of Captain Willem Heblij & Harry Robertus @ KLM

Captain Willem Heblij and Captain Harry Robertus made their last flight due to retirement at KLM. A last flight heading for Capetown and back homebase Amsterdam. On this flight Captain Willem got assisted by first officer Philip Arenda,captain Arthur Staalduinen ( operating as second officer) and Captain Harry Robertus (observer) as his ‘Wingmen’. Harry Robertus’ wife and senior purser was leading the cabincrew. KL597, callsign KLM105-Heavy, stand F4 and was planned for runway 18L. Because of a slight delay they got recleared to RWY24. Captain Ryan Oudshoorn made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Final destination was Curacao and back homebase Amsterdam. Joining this flight was Thijs van Tol, son in law, and Thijs’s father Rene van Tol is a retired KLM Captain for 6 years now. What a special moment to have joined your father’s last flight and also the father in law. Last Flight of Captain Klaas van Veen @ KLM

Captain Klaas van Veen got his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Final destination was Hong Kong and back Amsterdam. Heading for Hong Kong and assisted by First Officer Arjen Schwartz as his ‘Wingman’. Flight KL887 , stand Echo 6 , and a runway 18L departure operated with the B777-200 Reg PHBQB.
