Last 747 Flight on KLM72Y-KL686 // PH-BFV @ FO Martin Sievers // Cpt Fred Heijer

First Officer Martin Sievers made his last flight on his beloved 747………….intially…………but after this flight he got invited for another and his final 747 flight with destination YYZ- Toronto. This flight,KL686 with callsign KLM72-Yankee, was his last flight onthe 747 to MEX and back Amsterdam. Together with Captain Fred Heijer and Second Officer Yurrian Valkema on track for Amsterdam Airport. This flight got operated with the B747-Combi reg ‘PH-BFV’. KL713 // PH-BFY // Departure 19/3/2020 // RWY 36L This cockpit- and cabincrew of flight KL713 ,  departure on 19th of March 2020, problaby made their last and 747 Farewell Flight to Paramaribo. Another repatriation flight bringing the people back home to Holland on backflight KL714. KL713 got operated with the PH-BFY and a RWY 36L departure. Causing a cloudburst during climbout……….wonderfull The airtraffic controller at Tower West did have a nice conversation with the pilot monitoring…………     Videostills………..

Last Flight on KLM B747 // KL735 // PH-BFN @ Captain Vikash Badal

Captain Vikash Badal made his last flight on the B747. A retourflight to CUR-Curacao KLM decided taking out of service all B747’s  due to the current circumstances caused by the coronadisaster. Flight KL735 with callsign KLM129-Heavy  departing on the 19th of March and operated with the B747-Fullpax reg PH-BFN. Because of the low forecast there was a nice setting for filming his last 747 departure on RWY 36L. After operating a nice wingroll he disappeared into the clouds with a cloudburst.     Videostills……………..

Captain Michiel van Leeuwen suddenly had to make his last 747 flight at the 19th of March 2020. The news all KLM B747’s should taken out of service within two weeks hit everyone right into the heart. First the 747’s should keep on flying until May 2021 with PBM as last destination. But due to the current worldwide circumstances caused by the corona debacle………..the 747’s made their last operational flights in history. Last Flight on KLM B747 – KL602 – PH-BFT @ Captain Filip Cocquyt

Captain Filip made his last flight on the KLM B747,inbound from LAX-Los Angeles. As we know KLM decided taking out of services all B747’s within a couple of weeks and before the end of March. Actually it was planned to keep them flying till May 2021. Unfortunately it changed because of the current worldwide problems caused by the corona virus. 18/3/2020 – KL602 – PH-BFV – RWY 18R Captain Jeff Robertson made his last 747 flight from LAX to AMS. Suddenly all 747’s should be taken out of service within a eyewink.
