Captain Willem Heblij and Captain Harry Robertus made their last flight due to retirement at KLM. A last flight heading for Capetown and back homebase Amsterdam. On this flight Captain Willem got assisted by first officer Philip Arenda,captain Arthur Staalduinen ( operating as second officer) and Captain Harry Robertus (observer) as his ‘Wingmen’. Jeff got assisted by his ‘747’ friends Arnoud Welhüner and Pieter Natte as his ‘Wingmen’. Flight KL597,callsign KLM105-Heavy, stand F7 and a RWY18L departure. Captain Bob Reith made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Capetown was his last destination and back homebase Amsterdam. Bob was joined on this special flight by his girlfriend and also KLM pilot Aninka Ardon. On his last flight he got assisted by first officer Koen Volkers and second officer Wouter Hietbrink as his “Wingmen”. Flight KL597 , callsign KLM105-Heavy, stand G9.
