First Officer Adrian Herbert made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Together with ‘Wingwoman’ Captain Lieve Vanhellemont and ‘Wingman’ SO Beau Dollé heading to CUR and back Amsterdam. Flight KL735 , callsign KL129, with a crosswind departure on runway 24 and operated with a B777-200 reg PH-BQC. Backflight KL736 was also with heavy wind conditions and so was Adrian operating his final landing with a nice crosswind at runway 18 Center. Captain Charley Valette.the wellknown Cpt MD11, made his last flight on a T7 due to an early retirement scheme at KLM. Flight KL129 heading to CUR , RWY24 for departure, and operated with the B777-300ER reg PH-BVN. KLM operated her last 747 flight to Curaçao. Flight KL735 , callsign KL129-heavy, with a RWY 36L departure. The first time KLM landed with a Boeing 747 at CUR was 6 November 1971,with the B747-200 ‘Mississippi’. This was the last time after almost 49yrs operating this busy route with a 747. Captain Jan Bons made his last 747 flight and retirementflight together at one retourflight to Curacao. In view of the 90% decline in flights and anticipated future capacity, KLM previously decided in early March that it would phase out its remaining Boeing 747s in April 2020,instead of in the summer of 2021. Captain Vikash Badal made his last flight on the B747. A retourflight to CUR-Curacao KLM decided taking out of service all B747’s  due to the current circumstances caused by the coronadisaster. Flight KL735 with callsign KLM129-Heavy  departing on the 19th of March and operated with the B747-Fullpax reg PH-BFN. Because of the low forecast there was a nice setting for filming his last 747 departure on RWY 36L.
