Last Flight of Captain Gerard Bastiaanse @ KLM

Captain Gerard made his last flight at a Boeing 747 due to his retirement at KLM Gerard did have a career of the amazing period of 36 yrs of duty at KLM. Flight KL735-736 heading for Curacao and back Amsterdam. Together with First Officer Jeff Robertson and Second Officer Ron van der Starre. Departure at runway 24 and operated by the PH-BFY. A full wet departure with lots of spray and wingcondensation. Last Flight of Captain Marcus Hoste

Captain ‘Jambo-Marc’ ,as called by his colleagues, made his retirementflight to Nairobi and back to Amsterdam. Together with First Officer Martijn de Witte, he departed with flight KL565 at runway 18L.(28-7-2018) His last landing with an arrival at runway 18R at 7am in the morning. (31-7-2018) Special note,his wife and children were at the flight. Both flights got operated by the B747-400 Fullpax with registration PH-BFG. City of Guayaquil. Last Flight of Captain Jacco Krook @ KLM

Captain Jacco made his retirementsflight at KLM. He was heading for Kuala Lumpur and back Amsterdam. Together with his wife Kathinka de Graaf, Wilma van der Endt and First Officer Chris de Boer he got a runway 09 departure with the B777-300 registrated as PH-BVI. A magnificent sunset departure. Jacco’s last landing was at runway 06. First he came downwind across Amsterdam Airport and than finally turned in for his last landing. Last Flight of Purser Carola @ KLM – KL592

Purser Carola Kant-Widdershoven made her final flight due to retirement at KLM. Together with her chosen crew, she went to Johannesburg. They call it a ‘Joburg’. This morning,the 11th of July 2018, her plane with flight KL592 landed around 10am at runway 06,the Kaagbaan. Due to retirement FO Henk made his last flight at KLM. Together with Captain Floris Garstman and Second Officer Bart Grimberg he went to Los Angeles and back Amsterdam. Captain Jan Kees Wilbrink made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL735-736 heading for Curacao and back to Amsterdam. Together with First Officer Cees Vriezen. A runway 24 departure with a one hour delay. Caused by a aircraft change by PH-BFN to PH-BFL. A phenomenal ‘last flight departure’ with a huge cloudburst. Last flight of Captain Arend Troost

Captain Arend Troost made his last flight due to his retirement at KLM. His final trip was to the superb destination Salt Lake City and back to Amsterdam. Together with Cpt Henk Everwijn,First Officer Piet-Leen van der Deijl and Senior Purser Jessica Croes Flight KL609-610 got operated by the B789 ‘Dreamliners’ PH-BHG and PH-BHA. Departure and landing was at the same runway. Runway 24-06, Kaagbaan. Happily I was able to film the landing and taxying to the gate arside. Made possible by Ron Onclin from Schiphol Airport Group. Last flight of Captain Ad Barla @ KLM

Captain Ad Barla did have his last flight due to retirement at KLM. After almost 20,000 flight hours he made his last trip to Salt Lake City. Flight KL609 departed at runway 36L ,the 21rd of June. Captain Ad made his last landing at runway 06 with flight KL610 at the 26th of June at 14.12pm. Both flights got operated by the B789 Dreamliner ‘PH-BHF’.
