First Officer Inge van Son made her last flight due to retirement at KLM. A retirementflight heading for Bangkok and back homebase Amsterdam. Inge got assisted by Captain Juurd Ketting as her ‘Wingman’ ánd her sister Ellen as her ‘Wingwoman” (First Officer and operating this flight as Second Officer) That’s a wonderful detail. Flight KL843 , AMS-BKK, stand E3 and a RWY18L departure operated with a B777-200 reg PHBQM. Backflight KL844, landing on same runway but now RWY36R got operated with a B777-300ER reg PHBVN. Last Flight of Captain Derko Willemsen @ KLM

Captain Derko Willemsen made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. His final retourflight was heading to Bangkok and back homebase Amsterdam Airport. Captain Derko got assisted by first officer (2nd cousin) Jelmer Willemsen and second officer Matthijs Vreenegoor as his ‘Wingmen’. Flight KL875 , stand F6 with a push & pull operated with the pushbacktruck ‘Kilo Derko’. This flight got a RWY18L departure and operated with a B777-300ER reg PHBVR. Last Flight of Captain Marc Janssen @ KLM

Captain Marc Janssen made his last flight, after 37 years, due to retirement at KLM. Assisted by ‘Wingman’ FO Wiggert de Vries and ‘Wingwoman’ SO Lisa Woortman. With the third try he finally departed and heading for Bangkok. First his Sundayflight should get a change of aircraft with the PHBVB. Unfortunately this flight with stand F6 got cancelled with a 22hr delay. The 2nd try would be at monday at stand Echo17 and again with the PHBVB.
