First Officer Adrian Herbert made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Together with ‘Wingwoman’ Captain Lieve Vanhellemont and ‘Wingman’ SO Beau Dollé heading to CUR and back Amsterdam. Flight KL735 , callsign KL129, with a crosswind departure on runway 24 and operated with a B777-200 reg PH-BQC. Backflight KL736 was also with heavy wind conditions and so was Adrian operating his final landing with a nice crosswind at runway 18 Center. AMS-CUR-AMS Happily Rob was also accompanied by his daughter Nadine. Flight KL735 with callsign KL129-Heavy, RWY24 departure with a full wet runway causing nice spray behind the aircraft. Captain Wouter Kooman made his last flight due to his retirment at KLM. Together with First Officer Wout Nijssen as his ‘Wingman’ they departed to Curacao. Flight KL735 , callsign KL129-Heavy, got a RWY24 departure and was operated with the B777-300ER with reg. PH-BVF. Awesome wingcondensation during climbout of SPL. His backflight KL736 was operated with the PH-BVO. In view of the 90% decline in flights and anticipated future capacity, KLM previously decided in early March that it would phase out its remaining Boeing 747s in April 2020,instead of in the summer of 2021. Date tuesday 17th of March The airliner took decision to speed up with phasing out the 747’s at the end of March instead of May 2021.
