Captain Michiel van Leeuwen suddenly had to make his last 747 flight at the 19th of March 2020. The news all KLM B747’s should taken out of service within two weeks hit everyone right into the heart. First the 747’s should keep on flying until May 2021 with PBM as last destination. Last Flight on KLM B747 – KL602 – PH-BFT @ Captain Filip Cocquyt

Captain Filip made his last flight on the KLM B747,inbound from LAX-Los Angeles. As we know KLM decided taking out of services all B747’s within a couple of weeks and before the end of March. Actually it was planned to keep them flying till May 2021. Unfortunately it changed because of the current worldwide problems caused by the corona virus.
