Last flight of Captain B747 Lulof Beumer @ KLM

Captain Lulof Beumer made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Some colleages call him ‘The Tom Cruise of the KLM B747’ Togethether with his good friend and First Officer Peter Westerneng and Second Officer Ilana Iskander. Flight KL601 heading to LAX was operated by the B747Combi reg PH-BFW. RWY24 Sierra7 for departure with a marvellous wingroll salute after rotation.  They also call it a ‘rock to the wings’. Last Flight of Captain Tom van Hoorn @ KLM

Captain Tom made his final flight due to retirement with KLM. Flight KL745  with a departure on runway 18Center , operated with B789 Dreamliner PH-BHD. Tom got assisted by first officer Wouter de Haan and second officer Emma Pier. Backflight KL749 ,with the B789 PH-BHM got an other story than expected. Sanne Porsius (TWR/APP-supervisor)  took control with the talk-in of Tom’s last landing. They did reserve whole runway 27 ‘Buitenveldertbaan’ for Tom’s last landing. Official Retirementflight with Watersalute of Captain B747 E.K.

Captain E.K. made his official retirementflight with his choses crew,just in front of his final flight to JFK in July. Flight KL887 to Hong Kong ,operated with the B747-Combi PH-BFW, with a runway 36L departure. His backflight KL888 with the famous callsign ‘KLM Triple Eight’ with a landing on same runway, and in this case runway 18R.
