Captain Jan Kees Wilbrink made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL735-736 heading for Curacao and back to Amsterdam. Together with First Officer Cees Vriezen. A runway 24 departure with a one hour delay. Caused by a aircraft change by PH-BFN to PH-BFL. A phenomenal ‘last flight departure’ with a huge cloudburst. Last Flight of Captain Eelco Niemeijer @ KLM

Captain Eelco made his very last fligh due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL887-KL888 to Hong Kong and back to Amsterdam with a delay of about 3 hours. Actually the delay was arranged by heaven to provide Eelco with the best weather circumstances. The flights got operated with the B747-Combi’s ‘PH-BFU’ as KL887 and the ‘PH-BFI’ as KL888.
