Captain Peter Boender made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. A retirementflight after a phenomenal career of about 36 years. Started flying as First Officer the DC9 in 1984, thereafter FO B737//B747-400. In 1994 Peter became Captain starting at the Fokker 100.  Thereafter Captain B767//B747//B777-200/300//B789-787-10. His last flight was a retourflight to Bogota-Cartagena and back Amsterdam. Flight KL741 ,with a RWY24 departure operated with a B787-9 reg PH-BHL. Captain Ronald made his last flight due to retirement at  KLM as commercial pilot. Flight KL749 heading to Bogota-Cartagena and backflight Cartagena-Amsterdam KL741. Both flights got assisted by First Officer Marcel Elshof and Second Officer Jip Mulder. Runway 24 for departure and operated with the B789 Dreamliner with reg PH-BHL. Last Flight of Captain Tom van Hoorn @ KLM

Captain Tom made his final flight due to retirement with KLM. Flight KL745  with a departure on runway 18Center , operated with B789 Dreamliner PH-BHD. Tom got assisted by first officer Wouter de Haan and second officer Emma Pier. Backflight KL749 ,with the B789 PH-BHM got an other story than expected. Sanne Porsius (TWR/APP-supervisor)  took control with the talk-in of Tom’s last landing. They did reserve whole runway 27 ‘Buitenveldertbaan’ for Tom’s last landing. Senior Purser Barbara Toorop made her last flight due to retirement at KLM. Flight KL749 heading for Bogota-Cartagena and back to Amsterdam. Together with her daughter and son Tara and Bobby Hakvoort. Cockpitcrew captain Joep van de Langerijt,first officer Mark de Hoogh and second officer Floris Weijs. Purser Caroline van Eesteren also organized the trip. Flight kl749 got operated with the B789 Dreamliners PH-BHI and PH-BHO. The backflight to Amsterdam almost got a delay of one day.
