Last Flight of Captain Fernando Vermeulen @ KLM

Captain Fernando made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Joined by his beloved wife Helouise and their children Capetown was the destination. Flight KL597, callsign KLM119-Heavy, got a push & pull at stand Echo 19, tail long pushback with tail to the tower and a pullout into Alpha 16. So they made room for the inbound KL592 coming from ‘Joburg’. On this flight Captain Fernando got assisted by first officer Korosh Rasaian and second officer Nader Imani Kohani as his ‘Wingmen’. Last Flight of Captain Reinder Zwaart @ KLM

Captain Reinder Zwaart made his last flight due to retirement at KLM. Special detail is that Reinder’s wife Karina joined this flight as well and actually they retired together. Karina did retire during the corona period as Senior Purser after a career of 35 years at KLM. And it keeps going on with wonderful details…………..on this flight also Senior Purser Saskia van den Boogert got her retirementflight and  joined by her husband and retired KLM Captain Willem Bos.
