Captain Tom made his final flight due to retirement with KLM. Flight KL745 with a departure on runway 18Center , operated with B789 Dreamliner PH-BHD. Tom got assisted by first officer Wouter de Haan and second officer Emma Pier. Backflight KL749 ,with the B789 PH-BHM got an other story than expected. Sanne Porsius (TWR/APP-supervisor) took control with the talk-in of Tom’s last landing. They did reserve whole runway 27 ‘Buitenveldertbaan’ for Tom’s last landing. Captain Bas made his last flight due to retirement by KLM. Flight KL749 heading to Bogota-Cartagena. BOG-CTG, with a departure on runway 18 Center ‘Zwanenburgbaan. This flight got operated with a B789 Dreamliner registered as PH-BHM Backflight KL749 , Cartagena-Amsterdam, landing on runway 18R with lots of rain,was operated with the B789 registered as PH=BHN. Last Flight of First Officer Pelle van der Lee @ KLM
Pelle made his last flight as ‘First Officer’ due to heart-rhythm problems. KLM offered a kind of special retirement flight as commercial pilot. From now on Pelle will be instructor on the flightsimulator. Flight KL749 ,with Captain Ruud Jurgens,First Officer Martin Bredschneider and Second Officer//Instructor B777-B789 Vincent Aupers, heading to Bogota-Cartagena in Colombia. Operated with the B789 Dreamliners PH-BHL and PH-BHH. Runway 36L for departure and same runway as 18R for landing.
