Last LAX-Flight on KLM B747 // KL601 // PH-BFV @ Captain Nico Koster

Captain Nico Koster a pilot who did fly the 747 for more than 30 years.  At the 17nd of March he made his last 747 flight to LAX-Los Angeles. Thereafter just one 747 flight to go with destination MEX-Mexico City. Flight KL601 ,loaded with 17 horses on the maindeck, departed on runway 24 with the B747-Combi reg PH-BFV. First Repatriationflight PBM // KL714 @ Cpt Eric Akker // FO Sabine den Hollander

Captain Eric Akker,First Officer Sabine den Hollander and crew where grounded at PBM for some days after a lockdown at Surinams airspace. Tuesday the 17th of March they did fly back to Amsterdam as the first repatriationflight from PBM to AMS. With a delay they arrived at 9.36am and came final for RWY18R. Captain Eric made his last 747 flight,although he expected to operate the 747 one more time.
