Last flight of Bas Grootenhuis
Bas ended his career at KLM as Captain B777. Flight KL597-598 to Capetown was his last trip. This flight got operated by the PH-BQB and the PH-BQH.
Bas started his career as flight officer at the Royal Netherlans Airforce in 1979.
In 1989 FO at the Fokker F27 Friendship. Than FO at the B737 and later also Captain.
December 2006 he changed to long haul flights,ICA. Captain at the Airbus, A330.
Finally he took the step to the Boeing 777 in September 2011.
